The role:

An opportunity has arisen for an energetic and friendly person to join our team at Summerset St Johns, to assist with the day to day operation of our on-site café. At Summerset, we're passionate about providing quality service to our clients and we are growing quickly.

We value your customer service ethic as much as the technical skills you bring to the team - our culture is what sets us apart! Our Café Assistant is in many ways the face of our business and as such you need to be able to relate to a wide range of people, especially the elderly and their families.

This is a permanent role, working a roster of five days on, two days off.

What we are looking for:

  • Enjoy providing top class customer service to ensure a great café experience to our residents and their guests
  • Have the ability to provide high quality and timely support for the Chef
  • Have prior experience with making great coffee, food preparation and presentation is preferable
