Join our dedicated and hard-working Environmental Services Department and helpmaintain our facilities, while providing a suitable environment forour tūroro (patients) and whānau (families).You will be part of a small fast paced team that plays anessential part of maintaining Ashburton Hospital Facilities.
The team providesexceptional cleaning services 365 days a year, across both day and nightshifts.Starting rate $28.63 per hour, based on the E tū Service andFood Workers collective agreement.You will be responsible for:Completing all cleaning tasks to a high standardEnsure daily schedules and task lists are completed in set time frameWorking alongside other cleaners to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely mannerMatching service requirements to the clinical needsMaintenance of equipment and operated according to specificationsUtilise the correct chemicals and dilutions Shifts availableFixed term for 1 year working 22 hrs one week and 27.5hrs the next week with time and half on weekends and double time on stat daysThursday 7- 2pmFriday 7

- 1pmAbout YouWe are looking for a reliable, hardworking and flexiblecandidate who can bring their passion for cleaning to the Ashburton facility.This role will suit a candidate that is looking to help makethe Hospital and hygienic and safe space for our patients and whanau.There will also be the possibility to pick up extra hours.Full training will be provided to all new staff joining our team.
