Permanent, full time (80 hours per fortnight)
Monday to Friday between 8.00 a.m. and 5.30 p.m
Based in Rotorua Hospital
An exciting opportunity has become available to work as the Medical Management Unit Manager (MMU) Rotorua and join our passionate and multi-disciplinary team at Rotorua Taupo Hospital.

About the Role- The role reports to the Group Director Operation at Rotorua Hospital
- Focus on recruitment, rostering, job sizing, run sizing and contract management of Senior and Resident Medical Officers

About youYou should have- HR background in recruitment of hospital Medical Staff
- Experience and knowledge of rostering and leave systems for RMO in line with SECA
- Experience in leading and managing small teams
- Passionate about service delivery in healthcare with a good understanding of health and hospital cultures
- Ability to form professional and respectful relationships with medical staff and services managers
- Commitment to robust systems and processes within the unit to ensure consistency of service delivery
- Strong attention to detail, timely delivery of outcomes, and getting it right
- Goes the extra mile when required
- Robust time management and skills to balance key priorities personally within the team
- Knowledge of Te Tiriti, and a commitment to correct pronunciation of Te Reo
- A high commitment to the public health system
- A commitment to working positively and collaboratively with medical staff and Service Managers daily
- Qualifications in HR, Finance Management relevant to this role
- Strong numerical/financial and writing skills
- Efficient and effective at running the office
- Taking responsibility for your unit and the provision of services across the organisation
- Highly skilled in writing roster pattern
- Competent verbal, written, numeracy and presentation skills
- Good with people relationships and engagements
- Competent at intermediate level or above in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and computers
Salary range: 95,647.00 to119,559.00
