Our Foreman plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of construction processes.
The key results required are to:- Manage site safety to achieve “Zero Harm”
- Meet or improve on the required construction timeframe
- Meet or improve on the minimum required quality standards
- Being hands-on, helping to achieve production targets
- Promote the company's reputation
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in various construction tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among team members.
- Monitor project progress and report on key milestones, identifying any issues or delays.
- Manage resources effectively, including labour, materials, and equipment.
- Communicate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications.
- Provide training and guidance to team members, fostering professional development.
- Experience in 3 waters installation (essential)
- Experience as a foreman (essential)
- Water or drainage qualifications (essential)
- Class 1 driver's licence with WTR endorsements (preferred)
- CCC approved for water or drainage (preferred)
- STMS, First Aid, and Construct Safe qualifications (preferred)
- Class 2 driver's licence (preferred)
- Team first attitude
- Willingness to grow with the Company
